Kanchanar guggulu is the ayurveda preparation mainly consisting of kanchanar, guggulu, varuna and triphala. This preparation is explained under gandamala-apachi-granthi-bhagandharadhi rogadhikar in Saranghadhar Samhita. This is the drug of choice for enlarged mass in body.

Method of preparation:
All the churnas  are made into fine powder and mixed with suddha guggulu to make a homogeneous mixture. The resulting mixture is made into tablet form by adding ghee or eranda oil in it. Each tablet of 3 rati are made. The tablet are dried and stored in sirtight container.

2-4 tablet twice a day.

Properties and uses:
1.Kanchanar guggulu is explained under gandamala-apachi-granthi-bhagandharadhi rogadhikar in Saranghadhar Samhita.
2.This preparation possesses granthi-arbudhanasaka, vranaropana, bhagandharanasaka, medohara property.
3.This possesses anti-inflammatory, antitumor, anti-platelet property.
4.This is used as a drug of choice for reducing various growth(lumps) and fluid based accumulation in body.
5.This is also used in cancer to reduce the size of tumor in combination with other medicines.
6.This is also used in thyroid disorders(hypo and hyper thyroidism)  along with ashwaganhda, shankhapushpi.
7.Due to its medohara property, it is also used for the treatment of obesity and hypercholesteroalemia.
8.Also used in various gynaecological disorders like PCOS, fibroid. Due to, kanchanara which is astrignant and haemostatic it is also used for vaginal discharge, excessive menstrual bleeding and emdometriosis.
9.This is also used in abscess, fistula, enlarged lymph nodes. It helps to reduce the toxins in lymph.
10.Also used as a natural decongescent in rhinitis, allergic rhinitis, sinusitis and various other nasal disorders.
